Things are still moving along here at greyeyes ads; we recently discovered a back door caused by the social toolbar and had to remove it from most of the pages. We have kept it on the home page and that is probably the only page that will carry it from now on, after all, you don’t need it on every page. We are still socially accepted and still provide social sharing within the platform.
We also had a couple of bugs with links that weren’t targeted properly; these have been resolved. They weren’t serious issues and did not effect usability, it was just a matter of consistency. We are still operating in alpha phase and starting to place initial ads from our affiliates into the feeds; this will continue to be the model as we add more categories and subcategories during this phase. Once all of the categories and subcategories are developed, we will move into the beta phase of operations until all of the bugs are worked out and we have an established, solid service.
We have also added a new social service to our platform; we are pleased to be a member of memolane! This is a feed archive timeline; it will show all of your social feeds as well as any other feeds you want to place into the timeline. It will be placed into an easy to navigate timeline of every post you have made online, as well as a quick launch timeline at the bottom of the page. The service has privacy settings so that you can make feeds public, private, or available only to friends. As with any other social network, you can add your friends, co-workers, family, or any contacts that you wish to invite. We think this will make a great addition to greyeyes ads as an archiving tool as well as showing our social presence on the web. We hope that you get as much use out the service as we do, and are happy to promote it to you here for free.
