I am so looking forward to having time to continue developing greyeyes ads; made out a checklist of ideas to integrate, can’t wait to get to the mobile apps! On top of the 150+ categories and subcategories, I plan to add State Categories for the U.S. to cover a smaller local market; perhaps one day (when I can hire more developers) we can even cover local city markets. Moving to be the best Pay Per Post personal advertising system; developed to be accepted across the social web.
Once all categories, subcategories, and states are added; I will move greyeyes ads into beta development and begin working on connecting the network. An affordable pay per post advertising network that allows you to control your own advertising while giving you the power of a syndicated feed to broadcast to the entire web on a socially accepted platform.
You can subscribe to he feeds through your favorite reader, subscribe by email, bookmark, or even follow/friend/add us on your favorite social network to stay informed of new advertising. Or you can add your own advertising in text, photo, quotes, links, videos, or a combination of any of the formats using the rich text editor. At $1.99 per post, it’s affordable for the common individual as well as a small business or large corporation; and if you are looking for something for free, free promotion, or to give something away for free, we have free post feeds as well.
I am still looking at a end of summer 2011 timetable for the move to beta and having a solid platform to build upon; this will be quite the adventure as the popularity of greyeyes ads begins to grow on the social web. I look forward to providing the best advertising platform on the web today; a no spam, completely opt-in service that is accepted in the viral market of the social web.
But for now I have things that need to be done at the house; so I am going to put some music on, and try to get things caught up. Hello, I hope you are doing well; I just wanted to share a few changes @greyeyesads with you. If you recall, I had decided to remove the social toolbar; well, it has made a return. This time around it becomes our personal social connection, including chat, games, useful utilities, and our own alert system. Our sharing is now integrated into each and every permalink post; we have utilized the tools provided by our friends over @ShareThis to accomplish this task with the ease of copy & paste with a few tweaks to the code for individual permalink sharing of your ads on the social web. I think you will like the new streamlined integration of the sharing utilities and the power that they provide for your viral ad campaigns over the social web.
You will also notice that we have opened up the comments on the permalinks, powered by our friends over @Disqus. We weighed our options for comment providers and while the new facebook comments platform looks nice and integrates flawlessly with the facebook platform; Disqus provides integration with many other social platforms which covers the preferences of more people. I also like the ease of integration between the Disqus platform with the tumblr platform, upon which the heart of the greyeyes ads network is built. We feel that this will provide better feedback between the users and customers; the same general forum rules apply, as outlined in our terms of service, anti-spam policy, privacy policy, and general guidelines.
One of the major differences between us and everyone else is that every submission goes through processing by a human being; thus ensuring a better quality of advertising and eliminating the use of spam tactics. I don’t like spam anymore than you do; and this is a complete opt-in/opt-out service. We have provided links to provide a public place for you to report spam and discuss what justifies the use of spam tactics; and other bad practices that aren’t necessarily spam but looked down on within the social communities. I feel that maintaining a human element will not only ad value to our service but also add to the growth of greyeyes ads.
I believe that we have all of the bugs worked out and have a solid system worked out; if you encounter any problems or have any questions, as always, feel free to contact us; you can find links everywhere. I feel that we have started out on a solid platform and look forward to moving development into beta phase by midsummer 2011! I have so many ideas that I want implemented into the platform to give you more power over your advertising; including custom ads designed by greyeyes ads for your brand or company. Things are still moving along here at greyeyes ads; we recently discovered a back door caused by the social toolbar and had to remove it from most of the pages. We have kept it on the home page and that is probably the only page that will carry it from now on, after all, you don’t need it on every page. We are still socially accepted and still provide social sharing within the platform.
We also had a couple of bugs with links that weren’t targeted properly; these have been resolved. They weren’t serious issues and did not effect usability, it was just a matter of consistency. We are still operating in alpha phase and starting to place initial ads from our affiliates into the feeds; this will continue to be the model as we add more categories and subcategories during this phase. Once all of the categories and subcategories are developed, we will move into the beta phase of operations until all of the bugs are worked out and we have an established, solid service.
We have also added a new social service to our platform; we are pleased to be a member of memolane! This is a feed archive timeline; it will show all of your social feeds as well as any other feeds you want to place into the timeline. It will be placed into an easy to navigate timeline of every post you have made online, as well as a quick launch timeline at the bottom of the page. The service has privacy settings so that you can make feeds public, private, or available only to friends. As with any other social network, you can add your friends, co-workers, family, or any contacts that you wish to invite. We think this will make a great addition to greyeyes ads as an archiving tool as well as showing our social presence on the web. We hope that you get as much use out the service as we do, and are happy to promote it to you here for free.

I have been working to bring greyeyes ads network into the alpha phase and bring it to a working service; during the alpha phase, we will be bringing subcategories online while running service to the main categories. In this regard we can test the system while adding value and variety to our service. We want to offer a simple and affordable approach to advertising for everyone; which is why we ask you to pay a $1.99 submission processing fee for each ad you submit. This pays for your ad to be processed by a human being; this ads value because we can monitor and prevent the abuse that happens when you offer a free service. It also ads value because the people that abuse those free services don’t want to pay a fee to do so; this allows us to bring you a better quality service while keeping focused on creating more exposure for your advertising needs. We run an opt in social advertising service; we run advertising on our own virtual real estate and build on a social network friendly platform, allowing you to better control your own advertising. We are working on a “How to use…” manual for you to download as a guide for you to use to get a better understanding of how we work and what we offer to the business and individual and give you even better control over your advertising needs. As we grow, more information will be added to this knowledge base; especially as we move into app development, and seek to reach more of the mobile market.
Some of you may have been waiting for awhile to see a solid service spring from the original endeavors of “greyeyesgabriel front door” and following through our evolution into greyeyes ads; and some of you have noticed us for the first time, and we welcome everyone. I am not here to sell you on greyeyes ads; this service will sell itself, this has always been the main focus from the start of greyeyesgabriel international and I am just getting excited to share it with you; my friends of the world. We offer a social toolbar at the bottom of your browser that connects you to greyeyes ads and the social web, we invite you to use it’s features to advertise yourself, as well as spread the word about greyeyes ads, or just keep up with greyeyes ads on the social web. It has been a long time coming but the original idea of what I set out to create with my personal advertising network is about to come to pass; I have met many interesting people on my way and look forward to inviting them as well as everyone else to come see what greyeyesgabriel is doing @greyeyes ads…

Stage 1 of development at greyeyes ads is nearing completion. We have created a new free feed to submit to for free; but there is a condition of free ad submission, you must be giving something away for free. It can be something as simple as a free eBook, PDF file, or even a free membership to your network; or even a free vacation, car, whatever; as long as it is free.You may submit to it here, free @greyeyes ads.
We will have many categories and subcategories to submit to when we open the submission box to the public at very affordable rates. The small fee will be a submission processing fee and is not refundable; this pays for our human employees to process your submissions; if your ad is deemed inappropriate, then it will not be approved for submission and your processing fee will not be returned. Every submission is processed by a human, not passed through an auto responder and filter.
This feed will no longer be accepting ads for submission; we may be killing this feed or moving it in the near future with the development of Stage 1 nearing completion, at this point, it is undecided. One thing is for sure; it is serving the purpose of our information blog, for now. Once all stages are complete, we will open the submission box to the public for beta testing. When all of the bugs are worked out, then we will leave the beta testing phase and begin work on apps to move into the mobile market; we also have plans to expand the video ad platform at greyeyes ads tv, hosted at YouTube. We also have a social network in development that will offer a membership level system where each level will give you access to valuable advertising tools; but one step at a time. This network has been almost 3 years in the making and evolved with the social web, and we have met several challenges and setbacks; but, we are about to change online advertising to cater to the individual for the needs of society in the 21st Century.
